Que es Z Image Turbo?
Z Image Turbo is Z.ai's image generation model and the cheapest option on FlyAIgh at just 1 credit per image. The Free tier's 15 credits cover 15 full Z Image generations — enough to iterate freely on a concept before stepping up to a higher-cost model for the final deliverable.
Output is capped at 1K (default) or 1.5K (1536×1536 max). There is no 2K, 4K or higher option — the model architecture is optimized for fast turnaround at modest sizes. Five aspect ratios are supported: 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4.
Text-to-image is the only mode — no image-to-image, no reference workflow, no editing. For those you need GPT Image 2, Nano Banana Pro or WAN 2.7 Pro.
Z Image Turbo is particularly well-suited to high-volume iteration workflows: A/B testing concepts, generating dozens of variants for client review, building mood boards, prompt-engineering iteration. The 1-credit-per-image pricing means you can generate 100 variants for the cost of 20 Midjourney or Nano Banana 2 images.
The trade-off is detail. Z Image Turbo is weaker than Nano Banana Pro and WAN 2.7 Pro for fine textural detail, weaker than GPT Image 2 for in-image text, and weaker than Midjourney v7 for distinctive style. But for cost-per-iteration it has no competition on FlyAIgh.
Use Z Image Turbo when you're generating a lot and the final shot will be re-generated on a higher-fidelity model.
