Generate images and videos from your AI agent

The FlyAIgh MCP server lets Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other MCP clients use every image and video model on FlyAIgh: check prices, generate, use your own reference files and download the results — all from one credit balance.

Requires a Basic subscription or above.

Endpoint

URL
https://www.flyaigh.com/api/mcp
Transport
Streamable HTTP (stateless)
Authentication
Authorization: Bearer <your API key>

Set up in three steps

  1. 1

    Subscribe to Basic or above

    The API is part of every paid subscription from Basic up, monthly or annual. Credits spent through the API come from the same balance as the website.

  2. 2

    Create an API key

    Open Tools → MCP, name the key and copy it. It starts with fa_live_ and is shown only once; you can revoke it at any time.

  3. 3

    Add FlyAIgh to your agent

    Paste one of the configurations below. Then ask your agent for an image or a video in plain language.

Connect your client

Replace fa_live_your_key with your own key. Keep the key out of shared files and repositories.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http flyaigh https://www.flyaigh.com/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer fa_live_your_key"

Codex · ~/.codex/config.toml

[mcp_servers.flyaigh]
url = "https://www.flyaigh.com/api/mcp"
bearer_token_env_var = "FLYAIGH_API_KEY"

Then set the key in your shell: export FLYAIGH_API_KEY=fa_live_your_key

Cursor · ~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "flyaigh": {
      "url": "https://www.flyaigh.com/api/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer fa_live_your_key" }
    }
  }
}

Other clients (stdio only)

npx -y mcp-remote https://www.flyaigh.com/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer fa_live_your_key"

For clients that can only start a local command, mcp-remote bridges to the HTTP endpoint.

Tools

Agents see eight tools. Two of them spend credits; the rest only read.

list_models
Image or video models with their modes, durations, resolutions, aspect ratios, reference limits and an example price.
quote
The exact credits a request would cost, using the same checks and price as the real call. Nothing is charged.
generate_image
Start an image: text to image, or edit and follow your reference images. Spends credits.
generate_video
Start a video from text, a first frame, first and last frames, or reference images, videos and audio. Spends credits.
get_job
Status of a job. When it is done, a download link; failed jobs are refunded automatically.
list_my_generations
Your recent generations, to reuse one as a reference or download it again.
upload_file
Upload your own image, video or audio and get a file id to use as a reference.
get_balance
Credits left, your plan, and what this key spent today and this month.

What to ask

Use FlyAIgh to make a 5-second 9:16 video of a paper boat drifting down a rainy street at night. Show me the price first, then generate it and save the file to ./out.

A good agent calls quote, asks you to confirm, generates with expected_credits and an idempotency_key, then polls get_job until the file is ready.

Pricing and limits

  • Same credits as the website for the same model and settings. No API surcharge, and no separate API bill.
  • Spending is limited by your credit balance. You can also give a key its own daily cap on the MCP page; by default there is none. What each key spent, day by day, is on the same page.
  • If a price changes between quote and generate, nothing is charged and the new price is returned (expected_credits).
  • Each key may submit 10 jobs a minute, so a runaway loop stops quickly. Retries with the same idempotency_key within 24 hours never charge twice.
  • Uploads: images up to 25 MB, videos up to 200 MB, audio up to 30 MB; inline base64 uploads up to 3 MB. Only your own files and generations can be used as references.
  • Failed jobs are refunded automatically. Private originals come back as signed links that expire after one hour.

Questions

Which plan do I need for the FlyAIgh API?

Any subscription from Basic up, monthly or annual. Free accounts and accounts that only bought the starter pack or a credit pack cannot create keys. If your subscription ends, your keys pause and start working again when you subscribe.

How is API usage billed?

In credits, from the same balance you use on the website, at the same price for the same model and settings. Call quote to see the exact price before generating. There is no extra fee for using the API.

Which models can my agent use?

Every image and video model on FlyAIgh. The list_models tool returns the current list with each model's modes, durations, resolutions and an example price, so the agent always sees what the website offers.

Can I use my own images, videos or audio?

Yes. upload_file gives your agent an upload link (or accepts a small file inline) and returns a file id to pass as a first frame or reference. Earlier generations from your library work too.

Is my API key safe?

We store only a hash of the key, it is shown to you once, and you can revoke it on the MCP page at any time. Revoked keys stop working immediately. Treat it like a password: keep it in an environment variable, not in a shared file.

Does it work with ChatGPT or the Claude apps?

Today the server uses API keys, which coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor support. One-click connectors for the ChatGPT and Claude apps need OAuth sign-in, which is planned.

Bring your models into your workflow

Create a key, add one line to your agent, and generate images and videos without leaving your editor or terminal.
