Best AI Video Generators for Facebook Ads in 2026: Ratios, Sound and Cost Compared

Published September 27, 202612 min read

No AI video model renders the 4:5 feed ratio Meta recommends. Here is what the newest models do render, whether the file comes back with sound, and what a 15-second vertical ad costs on each, priced from one credit wallet.

Quick answer: four models, picked by placement

An ad is several deliverables, not one. The same campaign on Facebook and Instagram usually needs a vertical cut for Reels and Stories, a near-square cut for the feed, and sometimes a square one for carousels. Start with the newest generation of models and pick by which of those you are making.

  • Reels, Stories and TikTok (9:16). All four render vertical. WAN 3.0 is the cheapest single 15-second take (59 credits at 720p, 119 at 1080p). Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash, Google's newer model, goes to 4K but runs to 10 seconds per clip.
  • Facebook and Instagram feed (4:5). No model renders 4:5. Generate 3:4 on Seedance or WAN 3.0 and trim 6.25% of the height. Gemini Omni cannot render 3:4.
  • Square (1:1) for carousels. Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5 and WAN 3.0.
  • One product, many shots. Seedance 2.5 takes 30 reference images in a single generation, the most of any model here, and runs to 30 seconds.
  • Cheap drafts. Draft on the model you will finish on, at low resolution: 30 credits for 15 seconds on WAN 3.0 at 480p or Gemini Omni at 360p, 42 on Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p.

What Meta asks for, and the 4:5 gap

Current Meta spec sheets recommend 1080×1350 (4:5) for the Facebook and Instagram feed, 1080×1920 (9:16) for Reels and Stories, 1080×1080 (1:1) for carousels and Marketplace, and 16:9 for in-stream. The feed ratio is the awkward one. 4:5 fills more of a phone screen than square, which is why it is recommended, and it is also the one ratio no AI video model we offer will render.

So the practical question is which source ratio loses the least when you crop to 4:5. The arithmetic is simple, and it decides which models are worth using for feed placements:

  • From 3:4: trim 6.25% of the height. Usually invisible.
  • From 1:1: trim 20% of the width. Workable if the product sits in the middle.
  • From 9:16: trim about 30% of the height. You lose the top and bottom of the frame, which is often where a vertical composition put the headline room or the product.

Of the four newest models, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5 and WAN 3.0 render 3:4; Gemini Omni renders only 9:16 and 16:9. If the same idea has to run in both Reels and feed, render it twice, once at 9:16 and once at 3:4, rather than cropping one into the other. On Stories, the account handle covers the top of the frame and the call-to-action button covers the bottom, so ask for the product in the middle third.

The four models to start with

These are the newest video models on FlyAIgh. Prices are credits for 15 seconds of vertical footage, using the fewest clips each model needs. "Sound" means whether the file you download has an audio track, checked against delivered files.

† WAN 3.0 is on a limited-time supplier promotion, so its prices will rise when the promotion ends.

Seedance 2.5: long takes and many references. One continuous shot from 4 to 30 seconds, 30 reference images with no surcharge for them, sound with a switch, and all three ad ratios. It is also the most expensive of the four at 15.3 credits per second at 720p, so it is the model to finish on rather than to explore with. Everything above 720p is upscaled.

Seedance 2.0: the most ratios and price points. Pro, Fast and Mini cover 4 to 15 seconds in 9:16, 1:1 and 3:4 with sound, at 167, 134 and 84 credits for 15 seconds at 720p. Pro also sells a native 1080p render (416 credits for 15 seconds); every other Seedance tier above 720p is upscaled. Mini takes references but has no first-frame slot.

WAN 3.0: the cheapest long take. 2 to 30 seconds in 9:16, 1:1 or 3:4, with sound, native up to 1080p. 59 credits for 15 seconds at 720p and 119 at 1080p, on a supplier promotion. It also accepts images, video and audio as references in the same generation, which is useful when an ad has to match a voiceover or an existing clip.

Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash: Google's newer model, vertical up to 4K. Clips run 3 to 10 seconds in 9:16 or 16:9, at 360p, 720p, 1080p or 4K. It takes up to 10 reference images plus up to 3 short reference video clips, and the reference video does not add to the price. 7.3 credits per second at 720p (37 for 5 seconds); 1080p is about 1.5 times that and 4K three times. No 1:1 or 3:4, so it suits Reels and Stories rather than the feed. See Gemini Omni details.

Keeping the product the same in every shot

Most ads are three to five shots, so the constraint that matters is rarely clip length. It is whether the bottle, the box or the storefront looks the same in shot four as in shot one. Two inputs control that.

Start from the product photo. Image-to-video uses your photo as the first frame, so the product is right at frame one. Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 Pro and Fast, WAN 3.0 and Gemini Omni all accept a first frame; Seedance 2.0 Mini takes the photo as a reference instead.

Give it references for the other shots. When a shot does not open on the product, reference images are how you pin down packaging, logo and color. Seedance 2.5 takes 30 in one generation; WAN 3.0 takes 10 plus video and audio; Gemini Omni takes 10 plus up to 3 short video clips; Seedance 2.0 takes 9. A reference video of the real product turning in your hand is often more useful than another still.

Leave the price and the URL out of the prompt. Generated lettering can come back misspelled, and a wrong price in a paid ad is worse than none. Put offers, prices, disclaimers and captions on top in your editor, where they stay exact and can be changed per variant without generating again.

Sound, music and licensing

All four recommended models return sound. Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5 and WAN 3.0 have an on/off switch that does not change the price; Gemini Omni always includes it. Among the older models, Grok Imagine, Sora 2, MiniMax H3, HappyHorse 1.1, WAN 2.7 and VEO 3.1 Lite include sound, VEO 3.1 Fast and Quality charge extra for it, Kling V3 and V3 Omni have a sound switch, and Hailuo 2.3, Pixverse and Vidu come back silent. Where we had delivered files, we checked this against them rather than against model marketing, because the two disagree for some models.

Whether you need sound depends on placement. Facebook feed video autoplays muted, so a feed ad has to work without audio; Reels plays with sound on. Build the message into the picture and the captions, then treat generated sound as a bonus for Reels.

Licensing splits along the same line. Sound the model generates inside the clip is part of the generated content: FlyAIgh's Terms of Service (section 5) give you ownership and commercial use of it, subject to the underlying model provider's terms. A track you add in editing is a separate asset with its own license, and that license has to cover advertising. This is general information, not legal advice.

What a 15-second ad costs

The tables price one finished 15-second vertical clip. Real ad production multiplies that: you test several hooks, several openings and usually two ratios, and some generations miss. Two habits keep the bill sane.

  1. Draft on the model you will finish on, at low resolution. WAN 3.0 at 480p and Gemini Omni at 360p cost 30 credits for 15 seconds, and Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p costs 42. Staying on one model means the version you approve behaves the same way when you re-run it at full resolution.
  2. Pay for resolution only where it shows. Meta recommends 1080-pixel-wide files, but a 720p render is often indistinguishable on a phone at feed size. Test at 720p and upgrade the winner.

Credits cost roughly 2 to 3 cents each depending on the plan. At that rate a 15-second WAN 3.0 take (59 credits) is about $1 to $1.80, and a Seedance 2.5 take (230 credits) about $4 to $7. For how often generations fail and what that adds to a budget, see our measured failure rates by model.

Everything else on the platform

The older and more specialised models are still available from the same wallet, and some have a narrow reason to be in an ad workflow: MiniMax H3 renders native 2K, VEO 3.1 charges the same for 1080p and 4K as for 720p, and Hailuo 2.3 Fast covers 15 seconds for 32 credits at 768p. Same columns, 720p unless noted.

Health, clinic and other regulated ads

Clinics, telehealth services and supplement brands ask about AI video ads a lot, and the answer is mostly about policy rather than models. On Meta, promoting prescription drugs, which includes GLP-1 medications and hormone therapy, requires active LegitScript certification and Meta's own authorization, with targeting limited to eligible countries. None of that changes because the creative was generated.

The part that does depend on the model is refusals. Models turn down medical, body and clinical imagery at very different rates, and a prompt that one model renders another will reject. Before you plan a campaign around one model, run your real prompts on two or three. Our measured moderation rejection rates show how far apart they are.

What is actually free

Every model here costs real GPU time, so a free tier always stops somewhere. For ad work the question is which of four steps it stops at: generating, downloading, removing the watermark, or commercial use.

Ours, stated so you can hold us to it: signup gives 25 credits with no card. A free account can generate on Grok Imagine and Hailuo 2.3 Fast and watch a watermarked preview. Downloading, removing the watermark and the other video models, including the four above, unlock with any purchase; the smallest is a $5.99 Starter Pack of 200 credits, which never expire. That covers a handful of 15-second drafts on WAN 3.0, not a campaign, and you should read anyone else's free tier with the same four steps in mind.

How to choose

  1. List the placements first. Reels and Stories want 9:16, the feed wants 4:5, carousels want 1:1. Each is its own render; only 4:5 is better cropped, from 3:4. If the feed matters, that rules Gemini Omni out for that cut.
  2. Decide whether the ad needs an unbroken take. Most ads are cuts, so a 10- or 15-second model is fine. If you want one continuous 30-second shot, you need WAN 3.0 or Seedance 2.5.
  3. Count your product references. One hero shot needs a first frame. A multi-shot ad with packaging that must not drift needs a model that takes several reference images, or a reference video.
  4. Draft low, finish high, on the same model. Test hooks at 480p or 360p, then re-run the winner at 720p or above.

FAQ

What is the best AI video generator for Facebook ads in 2026?

Start with the newest generation: Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5, WAN 3.0 and Google’s Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash, and pick by placement. For the feed and carousels, Seedance and WAN 3.0 render 3:4 and 1:1; Gemini Omni renders only 9:16 and 16:9. For one uninterrupted 15-second take, WAN 3.0 is the cheapest at 59 credits at 720p (119 at 1080p), Seedance 2.0 Mini 84 and Seedance 2.5 230. For the most product reference images, Seedance 2.5 takes 30. Gemini Omni also takes short reference video clips and goes to 4K. We have not run a blind quality test on ad creative, so this answer covers format, sound and cost, not looks.

Can AI make a 4:5 video for the Facebook feed?

Not natively on any model we offer. The closest is 3:4: cropping a 3:4 frame to 4:5 removes 6.25% of its height, a sliver you can usually take from sky or floor. Cropping 9:16 down to 4:5 removes about 30% of the height, and cropping 1:1 to 4:5 removes 20% of the width. Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 and WAN 3.0 render 3:4, as do MiniMax H3, HappyHorse, FLUX 3 Video and WAN 2.7. Gemini Omni does not.

Is there a free AI ad video generator?

Every clip costs real GPU time, so every free tier stops somewhere, and the useful question is where. On FlyAIgh, signup gives 25 credits with no card. A free account can generate on Grok Imagine and Hailuo 2.3 Fast and watch a watermarked preview; downloading, removing the watermark and the other video models, including the four recommended here, unlock with any purchase, the smallest being a $5.99 Starter Pack of 200 credits. When you compare other tools, check the same four gates separately: generating, downloading, watermark removal and commercial use.

Do I need a music license for AI-generated video ads?

It depends where the audio came from. For sound the model generates as part of the clip, FlyAIgh’s Terms of Service (section 5) give you ownership and a license to use it commercially, subject to the terms of the underlying model provider. Any track you add in editing, such as stock music or a song, needs its own license for advertising use, regardless of how the picture was made. This is general information, not legal advice.

Can AI-generated videos have sound or music added automatically?

On the newest models the sound is generated together with the picture, so there is nothing to add. On FlyAIgh, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5 and WAN 3.0 return an audio track with an on/off switch at no extra charge, and Gemini Omni always includes sound. Among older models, Grok Imagine, Sora 2, MiniMax H3, HappyHorse 1.1, WAN 2.7 and VEO 3.1 Lite include sound; VEO 3.1 Fast and Quality charge extra for it; Kling V3 and V3 Omni have a sound switch; Hailuo 2.3, Pixverse and Vidu come back silent. Facebook feed video autoplays muted, so put the message in the picture and captions and treat the soundtrack as a bonus.

Can I use AI video for healthcare or clinic ads, such as TRT, HRT or GLP-1?

Usually the ad policy is the obstacle, not the video. On Meta, promoting prescription drugs, which covers GLP-1 medications and hormone therapy, requires active LegitScript certification plus Meta’s own authorization, with targeting limited to eligible countries. That applies whether the creative was filmed or generated. On the generation side, models refuse different amounts of medical and body imagery, so test your real prompts on two or three models before you commit a budget.

Who makes the best AI-generated ad videos?

We would not trust any single ranking, ours included, until someone publishes a blind test on ad creative, and we have not run one. What you can compare is control. For ads built from product photos, the number of reference inputs decides how much of the packaging, logo and color you can pin down: Seedance 2.5 takes 30 images, WAN 3.0 takes 10 images plus video and audio, Gemini Omni takes 10 images plus up to 3 short video clips, and Seedance 2.0 takes 9 images.

How much does it cost to make a video ad with AI?

On FlyAIgh one 15-second vertical clip at 720p costs 59 credits on WAN 3.0, 84 on Seedance 2.0 Mini, 109 on Gemini Omni (two clips, since it runs to 10 seconds), 167 on Seedance 2.0 Pro and 230 on Seedance 2.5. Drafts are cheaper at low resolution on the same model: 30 credits for 15 seconds on WAN 3.0 at 480p or Gemini Omni at 360p. Credits cost roughly 2 to 3 cents each depending on the plan, so a 59-credit take is about $1 to $1.80. Budget for several attempts per ad: variants are how ads get tested, and not every generation is usable.
